Synfo.com today received news of the launch of Project Orca, built by German yard Blohm & Voss, which took place last week. Project Orca is an impressive 96 metres long, with a beam of 16 metres. She has been built from steel, alloy and composite, with 2 Diesel MTU engines, and will reach a maximum speed of 19 knots, cruising at 14 knots. The distinctive exterior and interior styling is the work of UK based Michael Leach Design Ltd. Orca incorporates the owners cabin, 6 guest cabins and a nanny cabin, bringing her total guest quota to 16. Her delivery is currently set for 2010.
