Yesterday, March the 30th, German shipyard Nobiskrug, part of Abu Dhabi MAR, launched the completed hull of Hull 782 on to the River Eider, from their Rendsburg based facility.
Hull 782 launching The 74 metre Hull 782 is one of five superyachts the yard currently has under construction. During the launching ceremony the Nobiskrug Managing Directors and the Project Manager Mark Velthaus expressed their thanks for trusting and successful cooperation throughout the build process. The launch was celebrated in a traditional manner at the yard with a serving of hearty soup in the build hall for employees and subcontractors. Hull 782 will remain at Nobiskrug's pier for now, before it is taken to their 160 metre superyacht hall for interior outfitting, filling and final top coating prior to her expected delivery in 2011.

Nobiskrug currently have five superyachts under construction, including 782 Next to deliver will be the 60 metre Jamaica Bay, Hull 779, the completed hull of which launched ready for outfitting and sea trials in November 2009, and which will deliver in 2010.
Also on the cards for 2010 are the 68 metre Hull 780 and the 73 metre 781, reportedly to be named Sycara and Sapphire respectively. With Hull 782, Mogambo and the 74 metre Hull 783, Grafitti to follow in 2011, the yard are keeping busy!
